Fantastic news – the NHS C&M submission in the Neighbourhood Health category has been named regional champion in the NHS Excellence Awards.

Due to funding changes, several leadership and management apprenticeships will no longer be available from 1 September. There may be a limited number of final enrolment places available before withdrawal. If you are interested, email apprenticeships@merseycare.nhs.uk as soon as possible to check availability and arrange a short Teams discussion.

The annual PACE365 appraisal window opens on 1 May 2026 and will close on 31 December 2026.

Sheena Cumiskey MBE has been appointed as our new Chair by the Council of Governors, subject to employment checks and is expected to take up her role in July succeeding David Fillingham CBE, who was appointed interim chair last December.

Congratulations to our Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services (Community Care, Knowsley) our Team of the Month, January 2026. This team was recognised for persistent, compassionate advocacy and strong partnership working to keep a looked-after child safe at a time of significant risk.
