Following extensive collaborative work the Cheshire and Merseyside Wound Care Formulary (WCF) is set to launch in January 2026.
Developed by a multidisciplinary group with input from NHS Supply Chain, the ICB, and the Provider Collaborative, the WCF aims to standardise wound care products and practices across the region.
To support the rollout, they are hosting a series of Lunch and Learn sessions are open to all staff who currently use or will be using the WCF, the sessions will be delivered via MS Teams.
The sessions will cover:
- The background and development of the WCF
- How the formulary works in practice
- Key product changes and the rationale behind them
- Q and A segment to address your questions
Session Dates
Please add the session you would like to attend to your calendar and use the associated meeting link to join.
- Tuesday, 9 December 12pm to 1pm
- Tuesday, 16 December 12pm to 1pm
- Wednesday, 17 December 12pm to 1pm
- Thursday, 8 January 12pm to 1pm
The sessions will be recorded for those who are unable to attend.
We encourage all relevant staff to attend and engage with the upcoming changes.
