Last week I was part of the team breaking ground on the field where the LSU will be built. As the main works begin, you will see some changes on site. These will mainly affect those who park close to Rowan View but I know we’ve got more visitors now than for a while with the vaccination centre opening up.
Our construction partners will shortly be starting to set up cabins. Just as they did for Rowan View, this means using space on the Kennet car park. Half of that car park will become unavailable as from this Sunday, 3 October at 6.30am. We’ve done a full parking survey and there are enough spaces around the site for all staff. We are also planning a new car park on the old Beechway area.
As work begins, I know that some people may have to park further away from Rowan View closer to Indigo or Ashworth. Please do so responsibly and always keep to the one way system, obey the road markings and only park in designated spaces. Don’t block access to emergency vehicles – or anyone else!
We’ll be sharing news as the site develops, including with our stakeholders and local partners. As we work to create the full care pathway in Maghull, I’ll keep you up to date and ask that you be continue to aware of the building works that will be with us over the next two years.
Thank you
