Liverpool Safeguarding Partnership Board resolution and escalation procedure SeftonAs members of Sefton’s Domestic Abuse Partnership Board I wanted to update you on some work we have been doing around MARAC recently and an opportunity for multi agency staff training. The MARAC Steering Group has recently updated and relaunched the Sefton Domestic Abuse Risk Tool (DASH) and Sefton MARAC and IDVA referral forms. These, along with some separate guidance notes on how to complete the risk tool, are attached for your information. These documents are to replace any previous versions of the forms and should be used to complete domestic abuse risk assessments and for any referrals into either MARAC or IDVA from now on. They have already been shared with the MARAC membership group. Please feel free to circulate them to anyone as necessary within your organisation. The latest risk tool and referral forms can also be found at www.sefton.gov.uk/behindcloseddoors. As part of this relaunch, our MARAC Coordinator has prepared a PowerPoint presentation to refresh you on the MARAC process in Sefton (attached). Please feel free to share this with your teams.
