Mental Health Care Division’s Liaison and Diversion Team, including Reconnect, awarded Bronze Lived Experience Charter Status from Career Matters (NHSE).
The team was awarded in the Health and Justice – Non-Custodial category. It was recognised that lived experience is embedded throughout the service and the team is committed to developing colleagues with lived experience to reach their true potential, as well as improving health and justice outcomes for everyone they support. The judging panel was impressed by the career progression opportunities within the team which was also praised for its standardised integration of PSWs across all areas of the service. It was clear that co-design/delivery was evident throughout.
