The goal of the Green Light Toolkit is to support mental health services to improve access to service for people with a learning disability and / or Autistic people.
We have launched our Green light policy aimed at reducing health inequalities and increasing access for people with a learning disability and autistic people through the provision of reasonable adjustments. The aim and key objective of this document is to make sure people with learning disabilities, and autistic people, are enabled to access or be supported to access the services provided by the trust in a timely manner without experiencing barriers and the risk of exclusion. This policy will support staff in making decisions relating to assessment, care, and treatment and that reasonably adjusted person-centred care is provided. The policy is here: SA66_Green_Light_Toolkit_policy_V1_up_25Feb_2026_rev_Feb_2028.pdf
