From the beginning of August 2022, the Equipment Advisory Service (EAS) was established in both Liverpool and Sefton.
This has now replaced what was the Equipment Specialist Team in Liverpool and the Community Advisory Service in Sefton.
The reason for the name change was to bring consistency and greater clarity to both services, which operate under very similar service descriptions.
The Equipment Advisory Service advises, assures and signposts patients and clinicians who have an equipment need, to reduce any associated risk and ensure a positive patient and prescriber journey.
In addition to the name change, new email addresses and referral forms have also been introduced.
