Staff are deeply saddened to hear of Sue Molyneux’s passing, she was loved by staff and service users who have fond memories of her as an amazing and dedicated nurse/manager. Sue started in the NHS as a student nurse and in 1991 on the Rathbone Hospital site, completed mental health training. Before that Sue was a general nurse in Whiston Hospital. After completing mental health nurse training, Sue started in post at Broadoak as a staff nurse and was promoted to deputy, then ward manager. After many years at Broadoak, Sue transferred to Windsor House and then to Rathbone Rehabilitation Centre.

Sue was an amazing nurse and manager and always supported her service users and staff to the best of her ability, ensuring the service users’ needs were met. In her latter years, Sue became a modern matron with colleague Maria Tyson - a role which she really enjoyed. She will be truly missed by all who worked with her.

Deepest condolences to Sue’s husband Paul, her children Adele and Paul, her grandchildren, family and friends.
