September update
£400k has been identified for initial investment which covers staff costs plus overheads.
Recruitment continues and IT equipment has been ordered.
Based on the increase in NHS pay scales there is some pressure in the budget, we will have discussion with the commissioners about this shortfall.
November update
The costings did not account for the NHS pay uplift of 5.5% or for non pay (IT or mileage), however as recruitment is taking place part way through the financial year the pay underspend can we used to support this shortfall.
