Mersey Care nurse Emily Prescott has been presented with the prestigious Royal College of Nursing’s (RCN) Foundation ‘Same You Impact Award’ for 2023 for her outstanding achievement in professional development in neuro rehabilitation.
Emily (centre) was presented with the award in London by Professor Jane Cummings CBE, RCN Foundation Chair of Trustees and former Chief Nursing Officer for England (left on the picture below) and host for the evening, comedian and writer Shaparak Khorsandi (right).
The award was presented after Emily completed a course on brain impact and injuries via a scholarship from the RCN.
