Dear Colleagues,
As you are hopefully aware, we have been in formal 45 day consultation with Staff Side (Trade Union and Professional Association representation) under section 188 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992. The consultation period is due to end on 27 October 2023, however, today in discussion with staff side colleagues, it has been agreed collectively that we extend the consultation for a further two weeks, up until Friday 10 November 2023.
We are and will continue to work in partnership with Staff Side on a wide range of issues, including: the possible parameters of a criteria to travel to Aspen Wood; the incentives package that has been communicated; feedback from Staff Side; the process for Clearing House redeployment, at risk status and notice periods, amongst other matters.
As you will appreciate there is a lot to consult upon, hence the agreement to extend the deadline and we would like to assure you that once decisions are made we have committed under our partnership arrangements, to share the detail with all colleagues in order that we can meaningfully commence your formal one-to-one discussions.
