The Our Shared College and Occupational Therapy ‘Stride with Pride’ event takes place today, Wednesday 14 July.
The team will walk seven laps around the hospital for the seven colours of the pride flag. They will also be raising the LGBTQ+ flag in the circle outside the main offices.
You do not have to be LGBTQ+ to attend the event as it’s for everyone who wants to be involved including our service users! Just make sure the leave of absence (LOA) forms are completed.

- Start time - Maplewood 1 - 1.15pm (pink T/Shirts)
- Start time - Maplewood 2–1.20pm (green T/Shirts)
- Start time - West Drive , Enhanced Support –1.25pm (indigo T/Shirts)

There will be refreshments at St Luke’s.
The OSC team and OTs hope to see you all there and we look forward to celebrating with you.
There will also be a division wide celebration on Tuesday 20 July. The event in St Luke’s will have the Pride Picnic along with activity tables with tie dye T shirts, beauty table, photo shop etc. OT have activities planned for Ashworth and Low Secure are having a picnic along with lots more on 20 July.
