Counter Terrorism Awareness training sessions
Staff are invited to attend Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) awareness training sessions delivered online by Merseyside Counter Terrorism Security Advisers (CTSA). This includes sessions suitable for all staff, as well as a strategic level session for managers and leads.
ACT Awareness Session
This training issuitable for all staff, including front of house, service delivery teams, and anyone wishing to increase their understanding of counter terrorism. It aims to provide a greater awareness of how to identify, deal with, and respond to aspects of the current terrorism threat.
The sessions will take place on Friday, 17 July from 10am to 12pm and Tuesday, 21 July from 10am to 12pm.
ACT Strategic Session
This session is aimed at strategic leads and managers, particularly those responsible for writing or influencing organisational policies and procedures. It aims to provide guidance on the terrorism threat and how organisations can prepare for, manage, and recover from terrorist activity within their local area.
It will take place on Thursday, 06 August from 10am to 12pm.
Please note: it is strongly recommended that attendees complete an ACT Awareness session prior to attending the ACT Strategic session.
