Colleagues from Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS will be visiting our Whalley site next Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon, 20 and 21 July 2021. They’ll be accompanied by our staff and we know that you will make them feel welcome. This is part of the planning for the long-term future of the hospital.
We know it’s an unsettling time but we’ll continue to support staff and service users on site until new provision comes online in the future. There’s important work for everyone to do as always and our high standards are a real source of pride for everyone in the trust. Although we know LD services cannot be delivered from Whalley, we’re working to make sure of the continuity of the site in the NHS family, and to keep the heritage and tradition of great care alive.
