Welcome to the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) system information page. 

Here you will find a selection of useful resources and information to help you get the most out of the EPMA system and other services managed by the Digital Pharmacy  Team.

To access the elearning and training guides, please visit the LMS Information page and follow the instructions for Mersey Care and IM Staff. Once logged in, select the link which can be located within the red banner on the LMS homepage.

For EPMA password reset requests please contact the IT Helpdesk on 0151 296 7777   

There is now a self-service password reset option please ensure you have completed your user password self-service reset questions in order for you to be able to do this. This will allow you to reset your password without contacting the IT service desk.

Please note this inbox is only monitored during normal working hours.  If your request is urgent call the IT Helpdesk in the first instance. 

Complete the New Drug Addition to EPMA form. If you are struggling to complete the form or have any questions regarding the EPMA formulary please contact your ward or locality pharmacist.

Note: Before submitting your request don't forget to use the EPMA A-Z Drug Lists to see if the item already exists on EPMA. 

 

 

Complete the EPMA and Pharmacy stock control list amendment form.  If you are struggling to complete the form or have any questions regarding the EPMA formulary please contact your ward or locality pharmacist or technician.

Note: Before submitting your request don't forget to use the EPMA Drug Finder (Stock Lists) to see if the item already exists on the stock list.  

If staff with existing EPMA access require a change to their EPMA permissions the team leader must complete the following form.

  • For example a student nurse with EPMA account who has recently qualified and is now requesting full permissions as a qualified nurse practitioner on EPMA. 

Please complete all details requested on the form so that we can process the request in a timely manner. 

The EPMA Team will endeavour to complete all requests with 48 hours of submission.
