Four inspirational families shared their story recently when the BABS service in Sefton celebrated the success of its one-year pilot. The service supported 71 families in Sefton and their work, and 'next steps' were showcased to 100 partners and colleagues at Crosby Lakeside. The afternoon involved a number of passionate speakers sharing presentations on the BABS integrated model, how it fits with 'Vulnerable Complex Lives', service outcomes, cost savings and future developments. 

The highlight was the video and the families who shared their stories and attended the event to share their experiences with commissioners and multi agency colleagues.

Sefton's Integrated Care Board has invested recurrent funding in the service which will be relaunching in the Autumn and developments around the Partnership Pre Birth Assessment model will continue.
