We are aware that patients are still experiencing difficulties booking appointments and the trust has undertaken a survey with the public, who told us that they would prefer to be able to book their blood test online.

As of 4 July 2023, patients across Knowsley, Liverpool, South Sefton, and Southport and Formby will be able to book their blood test appointment online via our website.

The online booking system has been used by both staff and patients across Liverpool and South Sefton since August 2021 and after recent surveys, has been the preferred method for patients when booking a blood test appointment.

Patients can still call the telephone lines when needed:

  • For Liverpool, South Sefton, and Southport and Formby: 0151 285 4548
    (8am to 4pm)
  • For Knowsley bookings: 0151 351 8530
    (9am to 4.45pm)
