From 15 April 2026, the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Tier 1 training competency will be have been added to the training requirements for some colleagues, as part of a structured rollout across the Trust.
The training forms a key element of our commitment to improving the quality, safety, and inclusivity of care for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.
Our organisational target is to achieve 30 per cent compliance by the end of March 2027.
The training will be added to 30 per cent of all divisional staff and will appear on training records.
The phased roll out will then include an additional 30 per cent of colleagues in April 2027, and full mapping by April 2028.
