In the spirit of continuous improvement, we are keen to understand how effective the phlebotomy online appointment system is working for both patients and referrers.This is why we will be running another survey between Monday, 25 November and Sunday, 8 December.

Patients will be asked if their preference is to:

  • Make an appointment online via our website
  • Speak to call handlers who can make appointments on their behalf
  • Visit one of our clinics and wait
  • Make an appointment in person at their local clinic reception.

Mersey Care has on average 9,000 appointments for blood tests across Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley each week, and want to make the service as efficient as possible for all patients.
