Changes to desktop icons

Changes to desktop icons for Loop, Optima (eRoster) and SafeCare

From Wednesday, 17 June 2026, updated desktop icons will be introduced for Loop, Optima and SafeCare.

Loop
Loop is used for managing annual leave, study leave and viewing rosters (where applicable). The current desktop icon for Loop will change to the new desktop icon pictured below.

Optima (eRoster)
Health Roster is being renamed Optima. Optima is used for creating, managing and analysing rosters. The current desktop icon will change to the new desktop icon pictured below.

SafeCare

SafeCare is a workforce management tool that integrates with Optima to provide real-time visibility of staffing levels and patient demand, supporting the safe and efficient deployment of resources. The current desktop icon will change to the new desktop icon pictured below.

No action is required and there is no change to how these systems operate. Please continue to access these systems as normal where relevant to your role.
