As an extra precautionary measure, Ski Pads have been added to all buildings managed by Community Health Partnerships (CHP), where no evacuation aid was present in the stairwells. Ski Pads are evacuation sledges designed for moving physically impaired people along corridors or down stairs in the event of an emergency.
