Colleagues from around Mersey Care made a strong impact at this year's national Research and Development Forum (RDF) in Birmingham. One submission was co-produced with the women on Aspen Wood’s Hodder Ward and it received a very special award.

Staff voices are shaping real change across High Secure Services. Using a “You Said, We Did” approach, improvements to staffing facilities and wellbeing are already underway – benefiting both staff and patient care.

Marbury Ward in Rowan View recently won the Trust's Team of the Month award for continuous improvement. This week the Chief Executive met the team and presented them with their certificate and vouchers. As one patient said: "Thank you for treating me like a human. You understand."

Our pioneering HOPE(S) model, piloted nationally by NHS England, continues to attract positive attention and feedback. Dr Jennifer Kilcoyne has spoken to the parliamentary Health and Social Care Select Committee about her work and Cambridge University Press have published a new study examining the impact of HOPE(S).
