What is a Workplace Adjustment Passport?

A Workplace Adjustment Passport is a confidential document that records agreed adjustments to support colleagues impacted by disability or long term conditions. It ensures that the necessary adjustments are documented, regularly reviewed, and updated as needed, in line with organisational policy and legal obligations.

Managers are responsible for reviewing and updating Workplace Adjustment Passports for their team members.

Digital storage solution for Workplace Adjustment Passports

Managers can now upload Workplace Adjustment Passports directly to SharePoint using a newly developed digital storage solution. This system will automatically notify managers when a passport is due for review, ensuring ongoing support and compliance with Trust Policy. This enhancement streamlines and strengthens reporting arrangements for Workplace Adjustment Passports.

This development marks a significant step forward in enhancing our approach to “live well work well“.

Action needed

  • Managers are asked to review and update any Workplace Adjustment Passports currently in place for your team members. Please use the new digital solution to upload passports and ensure they are kept up to date. Regular reviews are essential to maintaining effective support and compliance.
  • All managers and colleagues are encouraged to engage in open conversations about reasonable adjustments. Discussing individual needs and agreeing on appropriate adjustments is vital to ensuring everyone has the support they need to thrive.
