An employment support service has been helping patients as part of the Talking Therapies team in St Helens since 2018. Due to the success of the service in St Helens, new services launched in the Liverpool, Knowsley and Halton Talking Therapies teams in January 2024.
Mersey Care now employs 18 Employment Advisors and three Senior Employment Advisors, covering all four Talking Therapies’ areas.
February’s data shows a promising continued build on referral numbers for this service – seeing a 50% increase in the expected number of referrals.
