Service description

  1. Assessment, treatment and support for individuals who display behaviour that challenges.
  2. Provision of support, and person specific training for other agencies supporting those individuals.
  3. Supporting transitions from inpatient and other settings.
  4. Crisis response.

Historically there has been an over reliance on the use of hospitals for people with learning disabilities or autism who may be displaying behaviours that challenge.

The team will provide a designated resource to reduce/ manage ‘behaviours that challenge’ in the community. Working within a positive behavioural support and trauma informed framework.

  • Workforce
  • Quality Metrics
  • Benchmarking against data set.

We are waiting for specific KPIs to be agreed by the commissioners.
