NHS Informatics Merseyside (IM) is the main provider of IT support for our staff.
You can log your IT problem or digital support request instantly online using NHS Informatics Merseyside’s Digital Assistant (IDA) on the Self Service Portal.
With IDA’s help, you can also:
- Track the progress of any existing IT requests and add any additional information
- Send direct messages to the digital teams dealing with your IT requests
- Live chat with an IT Service Desk engineer.
Accessing the Self Service Portal
The Self Service Portal can be accessed from your computer desktop from the icon below.
Please note: If you are a former North West Boroughs colleague, who has not yet been issued with a Mersey Care device, you will need to contact the Mid Mersey Digital Alliance for IT support.
Urgent digital support requests
To help us best support you, please only contact your IT Service Desk by telephone on 0151 296 7777 for urgent IT support.
Please note: this is a new telephone number which has been introduced to standardise contact methods for your IT Service Desk. Calls to the original number will continue to be automatically redirected.
Urgent support includes digital problems that are impacting your ability to work or deliver your service, such as your computer not working or not being able to log in or access an important system.
For further information about the alternative methods of contacting your IT Service Desk and which is the most appropriate for you, log a digital support request using the Self Service Portal.
