Wendy Copeland-Blair, Assistant Director of Clinical Outcomes and Olivia Wooding, Quality Improvement Partner from the Trust’s Centre for Perfect Care Team recently presented at the 8th National Patient Reported Outcome Measures Research Conference. The conference focussed on the implementation of PROMs in clinical practice and included presentations ranging from the development and testing of PROMs for clinical use, learning from the implementation of measures in practice and new and innovative ways to reduce the burden for patients and clinicians.
Wendy and Olivia were asked to present at one of the parallel sessions where they spoke about their learning from the work they are doing within the Trust and also had the honour of being part of the expert panel at the end of the conference where they discussed the challenges and solutions to implementing PROMs and provided their thoughts about the future vision for embedding these measures in clinical practice.
