Name - Ann Ingham
Role - CBT Therapist, Talking Therapies Liverpool
Experience - I’m a champion for Neurodiversity within Talking Therapies across Merseycare. I have been a CBT therapist since 2011. Before that a very diverse history including 22 years in NHS but with a break before 2011.
Disability / condition - I’m diagnosed ADHD & autistic. Late diagnoses in 2020 and 2024.
Reasonable adjustments - Since diagnosis have studied Neurodiversity intensely and have negotiated for myself a work plan which works for me. Dragon dictate so I can talk not type. Time between each session to make notes while its fresh in my mind. Being a champion so I’m spending time promoting what I’m passionate about. Two screens so I can see everything at once. The Talking Therapies service is very supportive and well informed. There are a lot of ND staff in Psychological professions.
