A number of events are planned for Whalley in the next month or so to allow staff to come together. There will be an OT led Jubilee event on site the week before the extended Bank Holiday for service users in Whalley.
On Saturday 4 June, a village fair will be held on the green adjoining the housing estate off Mitton Road for the local community. We have a stall there and the organisers promise family entertainment, food and family activities for anyone to participate in.
On 13 June, the trust will hold a special service in St Luke’s chapel. This event will be led by our Chaplain and allow any staff or service users to celebrate that building and its part in our lives. We’re inviting guests from the community including local clergy and community leaders to commemorate the history of the chapel. More information from John Rowbotham, divisional comms lead.
