We are delighted to be offering HOPE(s) two day training at Whalley on 25 and 26 September 2023.

The training will take place in the Boardroom.

The HOPE(s) model is an ambitious human rights based approach to working with individuals in segregation developed from research and clinical practice. The clinical model was developed by Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. It reduces the use of long term segregation sometimes experienced by autistic adults, adults with a learning disability and children and young people.

Mersey Care has been commissioned by NHS England to deliver a national programme and will offering a two day training event at Whalley aimed at MDTs and team members supporting service users who may live alone/segregated from others.

We also offer a two hour awareness session aimed at anyone who is interested in learning more about the model. These can be arranged to suit.

More information on the national programme can be found here HOPE(S) Model :: Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust
