This is a hybrid course delivered online and face to face at University of Salford.
Modules
- Practice-based reasoning, problem-solving, and the anatomy, physiology, pathology, and management of lower limb conditions, designing exercise programs.
- Anatomy, physiology, pathology, and management of the upper limb and cardio-respiratory systems.
- Anatomy, physiology, pathology, and management of the spinal and neurological systems.
Entry requirements
This course is aimed at Assistant Practitioners and Senior Health Care Support Workers. Entry requirements also include:
- 5 GCSE's at grade 5 and above (B/C) including maths and English or functional skills equivalent
- 128 UCAS points at A-level or L3 equivalent
- Some health care experience is preferable.
