This session, developed by Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services are designed to compliment our existing menopause support.

Session aims

  • Understand the stages of menopause
  • Have an awareness of different symptoms of menopause
  • Learn strategies for wellbeing through perimenopause and menopause, including:
    • Nutrition
    • Staying active
    • Accessing support
  • Recognise how menopause can affect mental health

 

This session is for anyone who ever wanted to know more about menopause. 

The content aims to help identify symptoms of menopause, the impact upon daily life and understand the importance of both looking after ourselves as well as supporting colleagues, partners or friends during this stage.

The expected duration of the session is approximately 60 minutes and run over Teams.

The groups will be run by our team of Health and Wellbeing Facilitators whom have previous experience of running group based programmes of this type and have the knowledge to provide the appropriate advice to support your wellbeing.
