The Infection Prevention and Control team had a fantastic presence across multiple sites, including Rowan View, Indigo, Clock View, Knowsley Resource Centre, Kirkby walk in centre and Curzon road health centre.
It was a really positive day, with excellent engagement from teams at every location.
Staff enthusiastically took part in the Glow Germ activity, which proved to be a great interactive way to highlight how easily areas can be missed when hand decontamination isn’t carried out effectively. It really reinforced the importance of following each step of the Ayliffe technique to ensure thorough hand hygiene.
It was wonderful to see such high levels of participation, interest, and willingness to learn – a real credit to all teams involved!
