There has been a recruitment plan developed for transition worker champions and current job descriptions have been reviewed to be taken through the agenda for change process.

Finance has been approved for additional roles and the job advert has been written, with each place to recruit individually, supported by the 18-25 leads, interviews will be held in December 2024 / January 2025.

A training menu has been developed and training is to be provided to services who are testing the new standards, during November 24. This will make sure that all the workforce have the skills, knowledge and competencies to engage and work with young adults. Training will continue to be provided to all community mental health teams, following successful recruitment

December 2024

Recruitment has progressed and pracitioners are due to start in post. Once these staff are in post memberships of the working groups will grow.

February 2025

New staff in Liverpool and Sefton are due to start in March/April 2025. Mid Mersey services will be readvertising their vacancies as recruitment was unseccussful.
