Meet our Health and Wellbeing Facilitators
Our team of Health and Wellbeing Facilitators are in post to support you and your wellbeing. They will use coaching skills to support you to develop the knowledge, skills, and coping strategies to reach your own health and wellbeing goals. They'll be facilitating self-management education programmes and available to provide peer support and to signpost you to internal and external wellbeing partner organisations. All of the team have completed Mental Health First Aider training and are experienced in having Wellbeing Conversations.
The team are part of our in-house Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services and are an additional resource to help maximise the support we can offer. The facilitators work across all our sites and can provide support in a flexible way, including in person and virtually.

Hi everyone,
My name is Katie, and I am one of the Health and Wellbeing Facilitators. I am married with two sons, so I am definitely kept busy when not in work!
I have been working in health promotion for the past fifteen years with members of the public, but supporting staff in the way you help support your service users, is something I’m passionate about as we often forget to take some time out for ourselves.
I'd love to come and meet you and your team, at team meetings or away days, whether it's to deliver one of our sessions, provide mini health checks or let you know in more detail what we can offer. Get in touch and we can arrange a time that's suitable.
As I approach menopause age, I want to support not only colleagues on their menopause journey, but the men in our lives to understand more about menopause.
I’m looking forward to getting to know you, so please feel free to get in touch if you’d like any support, or just a chat, I’m a great listener!
Katie

Hi there! My name is Neomi and I am originally from Leigh, but now live in the St Helens area. I started my career in the NHS as a healthcare assistant with my last post being in outpatient cancer services. I have a passion for reducing stress and improving mental wellbeing after studying health psychology at university.
Now as a Health and Wellbeing Facilitator for Mersey Care, it is my goal to help our staff to stay happy and healthy in work, and I look forward to working towards this together! I will be leading the programme for stress management/resilience with a strong focus on individuality and destroying the stigma around poor mental wellbeing.
I’m a good listener and will never judge anyone that comes to us for help, that’s what we’re here for! If you see me around any of our sites, say hi!

Rachel is our newest Health and Wellbeing Facilitator. Joining the team in October 2024.
Hi,
I am passionate about the field of obesity and weight management which is why I pursued it as a master’s degree. The course provided advanced-level education and training for those with, or seeking, roles in obesity prevention, weight management or health promotion.
