Chris Peake, Patient Safety Lead, is retiring today after working at the Trust for 15 years.
Chris joined the Trust in 2008 as NWBH Complaints Manager and moved over as Patient Safety Lead in 2016. He will come back part time to support the Patient Safety Team with the implementation of PSIRF.
His previous employment included working for the complaints department at Salford Royal Hospital and with the Healthcare Commission which was responsible for assessing standards in the NHS. Therefore with this wealth of experience, we are delighted he will be coming back part-time to support the Patient Safety Team with the implementation of PSIRF.
His retirement will also give him more time to enjoy his caravan in Wales and continue with his hobby of woodworking, making bird tables and Christmas trees.
Chris will be in Hollins Park on his last day if you would like to come and celebrate with him
