We are rolling out a new room booking system for all meeting rooms across the Trust – the current booking system can be accessed by clicking this link. This will be updated over the next few weeks asking staff to check in to any room you have booked upon arrival. This is to ensure rooms are not held empty if they are not used. The person who booked the room will also be notified if the room has not been used.

From 26 March 2024, you will be required to check-in to any room you have booked upon arrival within 15 minutes of meeting start time.

To check in, you will see a QR code either on the door or situated in a visible space in the room you have booked.

Upon arrival you will need to scan the QR code to check in to your room booking or reply to the room booking email you will have been sent, to say you are there.

When scanning the QR code you will be required to sign in via your Mersey Care account, this can be done on your phone or laptop. The check in has a time limit of 15 minutes prior to and after start time of your booking if you do not check in before the end of the 15 minutes your booking will be cancelled and will be available to book by other staff members to help the Trust to make the best use of the rooms available.

Other informal meeting areas are available for use, including Beckett Day Unit, the Hollins Perk restaurant and the breakout area within the Education Centre. Please encourage staff and visitors to use these areas for meetings or to touch down and use the Wi-Fi. If you require a larger room, the Education Centre has various rooms which can also be used when there is no planned training taking place. When booking a meeting room at Hollins Park, please take into consideration other people's requirements. For example, do not book a room that is larger than you actually need, book one of the smaller capacity rooms if there are only a few people. This will free up the larger ones for bigger groups.

Please make sure if your meeting is cancelled that the room is also cancelled at the same time to free it up for other use.
