Congratulations to Whalley legend and secretary to the Specialist Support Team, Charlotte Ferguson. Along with her husband Robert, she braved the shave for Macmillan this week.
Watched on site by colleagues, Charlotte was transformed on Thursday. Bob hadn’t shaved since he was 18. Charlotte said: “Following the spectacle of a man and wife being shaved to raise money for a very good cause. I’ve known several people who’ve unfortunately needed Macmillan nurses and they’ve all been full of praise for them. Plus, I can now see my husband’s chin for the first time ever. Thank you all for your support and encouragement.” Oh, and happy birthday too. What a way to celebrate, Charlotte!
