The District Nursing Service has faced a number of changes as a result of the pandemic, which has affected some contact numbers for referrals. An updated list of all the contact details for each District Nursing Team will be shared with key stakeholders across Sefton and Liverpool.
For all urgent referrals, referrers are required to call the relevant District Nursing Team prior to sending, to ensure the visit is prioritised. This includes any same day referrals, such as fast track, symptom control and any medication ie. insulin and enoxaparin. This is especially important for visits required after 7.30pm.
