We’re really saddened to report the death of Jack Anwyl. Jack was a well known support worker on site in Whalley and died suddenly on 19 January aged just 27. He was popular with service users and staff – and enthusiastically was part of the Trust cricket team which included colleagues at all levels of the old Trust. But we remember him especially with guitar in hand: music always played a big part in Jack’s life and he played many venues and had a huge following. Jack fronted duo Bad Cardigan and more recently Fighting Rhythm, who supported The Levellers on tour last year. Many on site know his parents well of course and we send our heartfelt condolences to Johnny and Michelle. Jack was admired, trusted, loved and respected by all who worked with or were supported by him in the Trust. He will leave a huge hole in many people’s hearts.
