Are you an experienced mental health practitioner, a deputy clinical manager, PgCert API Alumni, or an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a desire to increase access to Level 1 formulation for service users? If so, this one-day ‘Train the Trainer’ workshop will provide you with all the skills and training resources you need to deliver face-to-face formulation training within your team.
By adopting a ‘train the trainer’ model, we can harness the existing skills in our workforce and strengthen that knowledge base, increasing access to Level 1 formulation for service users.
The workshop is delivered online by Julie Owen, a mental health nurse and consultant psychotherapist working within the Trust. Participants must have the support of their line manager to attend and to lead training roll-out within their team.
Workshop Dates
• 4 March 2026 — 9.30am to 4.00pm
• 3 June 2026 — 9.30am to 4.00pm
• 2 September 2026 — 9.30am to 4.00pm
• 2 December 2026 — 9.30am to 4.00pm
There are 25 places available on each workshop, with a minimum of 10 participants required for the course to run. Follow-up support is available to assist with implementation and roll-out.
