Are you an experienced mental health practitioner, a deputy clinical manager, PgCert API Alumni, or an advanced nurse practitioner with a desire to increase access to Level 1 formulation for service users? If so, this one day ‘Train the Trainer’ workshop will provide you with all the skills and training resources you need to deliver face to face formulation training within your team.
By adopting a ‘train the trainer’ model, we can harness the existing skills in our workforce and strengthen that knowledge base, increasing access to Level 1 formulation for service users.
The workshop is delivered online by Julie Owen, a mental health nurse and consultant psychotherapist working within the Trust. Participants must have the support of their line manager to attend and to lead training rollout within their team.
Workshop dates
• 4 March 2026 — 9.30am to 4.00pm
• 3 June 2026 — 9.30am to 4.00pm
• 2 September 2026 — 9.30am to 4.00pm
• 2 December 2026 — 9.30am to 4.00pm
There are 25 places available on each workshop, with a minimum of 10 participants required for the course to run. Follow up support is available to assist with implementation and roll out.
