Operations / Department Manager - Level 5

Type: Team leader and management

Qualification: Level 5, equivalent to a Foundation Degree. This qualification is recognised by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and you can register on completion.

Course duration: 15 to 18 months

Where will I study?

This course is delivered in a range of ways, this includes: face to face sessions, group sessions online or remote sessions. All of the training is tutor led by an industry experienced assessor.

 

Course modules

There are 8 modules in total which will cover:
- Leadership and people management
- Analysing, interpreting and cascading data to enable tracking, trend analysis and metric reporting
- Managing and influencing activities and projects within budget and resources
- Collaborating with, and managing stakeholder relationships
- Leading the creation and implementation of resource plans, considering future organisation needs
- Interpreting and complying with relevant legislation and regulation and the impact on organisation
- Leading the team and individual training needs and support continuous professional development
- Communicating complex information to build understanding and drive team performance

 

Entry requirements

3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subjects
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
Experience in BA position or environment
