In partnership with NHS England and other North West NHS Trusts, our Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service has won a NHS Health at Work Network Recognition Award for its role in implementing a new staff wellbeing initiative.

The initiative is aimed at supporting managers to embed cultures which create wellbeing in teams, so that colleagues can stay and thrive in work whilst delivering excellent patient care.

This includes providing support and guidance for managers on making better quality Occupational Health referrals which in turn will allow the Occupational Health and Wellbeing team to provide more tailored and meaningful support.

Andrea Snagg, Assistant Director of Health and Wellbeing said of the award - “I am really proud of the role Zoe and the team have played in developing this valuable resource. It will help make sure our managers are better equipped to support their staff and where necessary, seek more personalised and effective support from ourselves.”

The NHS Health at Work Network Recognition Awards, known as the OHPRAS, celebrate the impactful projects and initiatives in the occupational health and wellbeing sector. The awards aim to showcase the achievements and innovations in occupational health and wellbeing, aligning with NHS England's strategic themes.
