Congratulations to Paul Pruden, horticulture manager on the Maghull Health Park, who along with his team of Dave, Ian, Neil and Phil have received a prestigious award from the town council.

Mayor Cllr John Sayers told them they had been "immeasurably integral to every project that the Friends of Maghull and District have undertaken and have made the seemingly impossible possible.” A whole range of local schemes, from community grass cutting during the pandemic, to creating an accessible path and also working with 146 tonnes of soil for landscaping, have earned the team the second ever Maghull Mayoral Achievement Award. Our own Tracy Battison, head of estate and facilities, paid tribute to them in the local press. She said the team were a much-valued asset: “The grounds they maintain are always impeccable. They are always ready to go the extra mile.”

Well done Paul and colleagues for great work continuing to support our local community.
