Rowan View Hospital has won another award at the prestigious Building Better Healthcare Awards which follows previous recognition from the design industry earlier this year. We collected the best External Environmental Award at a ceremony in London on Thursday and were shortlisted in three other categories. The awards are open to the NHS, care homes, architects, contractors and suppliers.
As well as colleagues from design experts IBI Group, our own Jo Worswick (Assistant Director, third from left) and Jo Minogue Sharp (Head of Strategic Estates, forth from left) were there at the presentation with comedian Hal Cruttenden (on the right).
The new hospital was also shortlisted in three other categories - best healthcare development greater than £10 million, best collaborative art and best interior design project - but lost out to stiff competition.
Rowan View has already received other recognition in 2022 and won four awards in the Design in Mental Health Awards in the Estates and Facilities Tean of the Year, Outdoor Spaces. Clinical Team and Art Installation categories.
