We are reaffirming our Trust’s Perfect Care commitment to becoming an actively anti-racist organisation and to challenging unacceptable behaviours in our workforce and in every interaction with our service users, patients and their families
This year, our focus is on allyship and action - the practical steps we all take to stand up against racism and discrimination in any form. Every colleague, manager and leader has a role in modelling these behaviours, every day. This is how we build the culture we all want to be part of.
To support this, we encourage leaders to attend our Three Day Leading for Belonging Programme and managers to join our Allyship sessions (Band 7 and above). These provide valuable opportunities to deepen understanding, build confidence and strengthen inclusive leadership across the Trust. To book, please visit the prospectus or further information email leadership
Our message is clear: racism and unacceptable behaviours have no place here, from anyone, at any time. By acting together with consistency, compassion and care, we will create the compassionate culture our staff, patients and communities deserve.
Together, we are Mersey Care
