Neurodiversity Celebration Week takes place from 17 to 23 March 2026, offering an opportunity to recognise and value the strengths and contributions of neurodivergent colleagues across Mersey Care.

The week encourages us not only to celebrate diversity of thinking but also to challenge long standing myths and stereotypes that can limit understanding and inclusion.

Connect with the Neurodivergent Colleagues Network

The Dyslexia and Dyspraxia Network have recently re-branded as the Neurodivergent Colleagues Network, to better reflect the full breadth of neurodivergence within Mersey Care. To find out more information about the network please visit the Neurodivergent Colleagues Network on YourSpace.

Explore our new support area on YourSpace:

We’ve also developed a new neurodiversity support area on YourSpace, shaped with input from our staff networks, wellbeing colleagues and clinical experts, to help colleagues access advice, resources and signposting.

Book a neurodiversity awareness session:

Neurodiversity awareness sessions have been developed in collaboration with network members, ensuring lived experience sits at the heart of our learning. These following sessions are available to book via Section 4 of the Learning Prospectus

Join the conversation at our Schwartz Round:

There will also be a Schwartz Round titled “Different Minds for Challenging Times”, a reflective space to explore how diverse perspectives and thinking styles help teams navigate complexity and deliver compassionate, safe care together. This session will take place on Thursday, 26 March from 2 to 3pm
