From Monday, 10 November, the 350 Food Hygiene and Allergens Level 2 eLearning training is being introduced to ensure compliance with National Food Standards and best practice requirements.
Key learning outcomes include:
- Food safety awareness and allergen management
- Basic nutrition and hydration principles
- Malnutrition awareness and special diets
- Safe food handling and food hygiene
- Food presentation and assisting patients with eating
Training will be mandatory with a 3 yearly refresher period for:
