As we approach the Christmas and New Year period, we need to make sure that all bases are fully stocked with dressings over the shutdown. To achieve this, double and triple orders will be placed from NHSSC to ensure sufficient stock.
Please make sure there is enough space at your base to accommodate these larger than usual deliveries. This is the only way to make sure every base has enough stock throughout the festive period.
It is important that orders are authorised promptly so they can be processed on time. During this period, there will be limited availability for emergency orders, so please make sure someone is available to authorise orders when needed.
These are the weeks during which our stock coordinators will review stock levels and place all Christmas and New Year orders, including any required double or triple orders:
- Week commencing 1 December: POD single orders only
- Week commencing 8 December
- Week commencing 15 December.
