Digital tools are becoming an essential part of how our healthcare is accessed and delivered and using them confidently can make a real difference to your own wellbeing.

Support with the NHS App

The Wellbeing Team can support you with navigating the NHS App sign‑up process and help resolve many of the common issues people experience when getting started.

The NHS App isn’t just for patients. It’s also a powerful wellbeing tool for NHS staff

By using it, you can:

  • Book, manage or cancel your own healthcare appointments quickly and easily, so no more “8am scramble” phone calls to your GP

  • Order repeat prescriptions online, saving you time and helping you stay on top of your own health needs.

  • Access your GP Health record and view test results, medications and health information all in one place

  • Manage health services for others such as family member or someone you are caring for.

If you’d like to book the Wellbeing team to do a ‘Digital Drop-in' where you are based to demonstrate the app and support the sign-up process email wellbeinghub@merseycare.nhs.uk

Book a Digital Health Session for your team

Why not book a Digital Health session for you and your team?

The session delivered by the Wellbeing Team explores what digital health means and why it matters for staff wellbeing.

In the short session we outline how technology can support care, reduce pressure and save time. It provides an overview of the NHS App and other trusted digital tools that can help support physical and mental wellbeing.

The session also shares practical tips to help staff maintain a health digital balance, set boundaries and use technology in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.

To book a session for your team email wellbeinghub@merseycare.nhs.uk
